Nothing beats IMVF for a rustic, classic New England Wedding! Peace, tranquility, relaxation and beauty are what this place is all about. Has a great staff, very helpful and calming. Accommodations are nice. Not without some19th century "charms" for plumbing but you aren't at the Four Seasons nor do you want that. This view and beauty of the surroundings is breathtaking. Highly recommend for a night out, long weekend getaway, biking pampering, or wedding!

Went here for a wedding earlier in the fall and was pleased with the accommodations. The wedding itself was inside the barn and was beautiful. We loved having lots of places to crash before/after/during the wedding, and hung out in one house's kitchen for a while at night. Other folks enjoyed the fire pit and chairs under the stars. I wouldn't exactly say this alone is worth driving almost to Canada for, but if you're in the area, it's a friendly and cute place to stay.

Such peace and quiet. This place was exactly what we needed. We were looking for a mtb vacation destination, and having ridden all over the country i have to say that Kingdom Trails and the Inn at Mountain View Farm experience ranks among the best. We took advantage of the mid-week special which included 2 trail passes per day and breakfast. Here are a few highlights: - First of all, the grounds are PERFECT. The historic barn structures are really cool and there is an animal rescue on site. Trailhead access could not be easier. i broke my chain on the second day after riding Troll Stroll and was within a 10 min walk from the Inn. - The rooms and breakfast were top notch. It's more of a table service which came as a pleasant surprise. And it was quite good... three options to choose from and the menu rotates daily. Served 8-9am with coffee out at 7:30. - All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the trails and local area. They clearly enjoy what they do and where they live (i would too!) - The Kingdom Trails were everything i wanted them to be.... the "crown jewel of east coast riding" and the most "buffed out trails in the east" are true statements. They were fun and fast and being there mid-week meant we basically had them all to ourselves. The only downside is East Burke and Lyndonville are sleepy little towns, so make sure you don't wait until 8pm to check out your dinner options... you might be out of luck. On our last night there we ordered sandwiches to go and sat outside in front of the fire pit on some lovely chairs in the grass, overlooking a starry sky, with one of the cats keeping us company. Overall, definitely a five star experience.

We had our daughters wedding here and it was so amazing. The place is so beautiful and peaceful. The staff was great. Breakfast was unbelievable. From start to the finish it was awesome. Cait the wedding staff person was great and answered all our questions. We love this place and would love to go and have some time again up there.

We recently had our wedding here and I really want to give this place 5 starts, but can't quite do it. The wedding coordinator, Cait, was absolutely amazing. She fielded our numerous questions, worked out last minute changes, and made everyone feel very at home. The property is very pretty and located in the heart of the the best Mountain biking in the Northeast. The rooms themselves are comfortable and all of the staff on site are very friendly (the housekeepers were so helpful and personable)- with one exception. Several of my guests complained that the owner was rude to them. I had gotten a similar feeling when I met her earlier in the summer when I came up to the Inn to nail down some details, but passed it off as the hot weather making her grumpy. This seemingly was not the case. Another gripe I have about this place is how they handle the liquor at weddings. This place got some sort of Vermont liquor licence instead of the state charging couples a nominal fee to provide their own liquor service. They claimed this was more convenient for guests. We found that this limited us a fair bit and increased the bar cost exponentially. From what the wedding coordinator that we initially worked with said (she is no longer at the Inn), they used to do it another way so that an outside caterer or guests could provide their own drinks. This would have been better. In short, a very nice place to hold a wedding...if the owner isn't around.

Went Sunday-Wednesday in July for mountain biking at Kingdom Trails. The Inn met every expectation and then some. Perfectly restored buildings, well appointed & quiet rooms, beautiful landscaping, fresh produce from the grounds and friendly staff. Felt like I was staying with friends vs. an at Inn. Mountain biking trails are literally in the backyard. Breakfast included was superb! We loved the "if you take it replace it policy" in the kitchen - great to see some places still operate on an honor system. Left our bikes unlocked in the barn - really nice. Minor drawbacks, but definitely won't prevent me from returning: If you want amenities (pool, hot tub, full dining) this is not your place. However, good dining options are a 3-5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away. Tip: Go mid-week for 20% discount on rooms, and includes pass to Kingdom Trails. The Chef, Michael, is also an expert Mountain Biker who is available to guide you through the expanse of trails.
